UPDATE Final-exam-excuses

You still remember my name? Even without looking at my header of blog's name? April has gone by so fast y'all, I still can't believe that the end of May is almost there. I know I have been very silent, you could say too silent, on the blog. I just wanted to send a little something into the world saying: I'm absolutely NOT quitting blogging! The reason I've been so absent is one that a lot of bloggers take very well, which is final exams. I'm in my last year of high school (Havo 5) and I'm in the middle of my exams. I've already done art history, dutch language, german language and math, but there's still three more to go (history, geographics and english language). I must say: the past week has been exhausting. Today and last tuesday, I had exams all day, which meant up at 7 and home with dinner at 5. The other days consisted from studying, studying and studying.
I won't bore you with the rest of my life-story about school, which IS boring you can't deny that! I have my last two exams on friday and I'm turning 17 saturday, may 25th so that's probably going to be the day celebrating my freedom. I have no doubts that I'm going to pass my exams, but I just had to keep myself away from the computer for as long as possible. Well, this is as long as possible.

Hi Loves. Finally my last ever testweek is over! I've been real absent but I wanted to do my best to have great grades before I enter the exam period. PHOTO & MUSIC | I came out like a rose

Hi Loves! After almost a year of absense (!), I decided to post a new video on youtube yesterday. I did a cover of Ashley Monroe's beautiful 'Like A Rose'. It's a country song in heart and soul, so I don't think a lot of you guys will love the song personally, but I do hope you like my redenition of it. I also took some pictures and edited them as you can see and recorded a video for one of my singer-songwriter-friends Lisette Lowe. She's going to enter the 'Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland' competition. I wanted to enter too, but you have to be available the entire month that I have exams -___-. Next year better luck I guess, haha!

Hi Loves. Am I doing this well or not? Yet another actual look on the blog! I wear the blazer-guns-and-roses-top-combination a lot and I think it looks even more nice with my new Primark shorts. A few of my friends have stated my look of today as 'too colorful for this kind of weather' but I am positive that March will bring all of us sun-loving-girls better prospects! Maybe adding some color to your outfits and wearing thinner sweaters, will help the sun a bit? What do you think of my look of today?

LOOK | Orange

PRIMARK blouse, shorts, flats, bracelet H&M necklace, ring

Hi Loves. I was finally brave enough to go outside to take pictures again. I'm not diggin' the position of my camera in these pictures, I could do better, but I just have to get used to taking pictures again haha. About the blouse: I always feel like orange is underrated, especially in the Netherlands. See, orange is our national color so a lot of people avoid it because of the 'queensday-feeling' it screams. I think orange looks really nice on me and little things like that don't matter to me! Talking about little things: I hope you can see it, but the reason I'm wearing blue shoes is because they match my nails haha. I like to match little details like that.
