Demi Knight's Life: August 2011

Hello everyone! I wanted to make a little post talking to you about the 'Day Zero Project' .
It's a site where you can make a list of 101 things you have to do in 1001 days (which is about 2,75 years). It sounds easy but try to find 101 things you want to do!
I made a list myself and finished it today. You can find mine here.
One of the topics I made is 'Answer the 50 questions that will free your mind'.
I found that list of questions on the internet and decided to do it.
It's a list of questions that have no right or wrong anwers. Spread the word; add it on your blog and do it yourself!

Here's the list and my answers;
1.How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
One thing people that met me for the first time, even my mom, always told me they thought I was much older. I think I’m wiser for my age than most people because I know what life is about and I know what’s worth and what’s not worth it.

2.Which is worse, failing or never trying?
I can be very short about that one; never trying. You should never regret anything you do, it was supposed to happen and probably helped you out in some way. When you fail, you tried it at least…

3.If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
That’s a tough one and in my sight; totally true! I think I lack a lot that I excally like because I’m afraid of what people will think. And I do so much I don’t like, but sometimes you just have to.

4.When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
No, I’m someone that says; saying it is doing it. I think just a little word can make a change.

5.What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
It’s rules. Where’s the time we used to trate apples for pears? Where’s the time you could travel anywhere and pie anywhere? Oh wait, that’s a little dirty but you get it…

6.If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Singing country songs, playing riffs I’ve worked on for three months.

7.Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
I used settle for what I’m doing all the time, but year by year I’m doing more and more what I believe in. That’s one of the things I’m proud of by myself.

8.If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
Think more impulsive, I would take chances faster. I wouldn’t think about the future anymore but about now.

9.To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I’m fifteen and live with my parents so there’s not much control to take. I think making this blog and growing on youtube was something I needed to have control.

10.Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I think doing things right won’t get you anywhere. If I would do everything right I would’ve chosen economics instead of geography. If I would do everything right I would go study at the PABO instead of secretly wanting to go do a musical education. I wanna do the wrong things right…

11.You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
I would just disagree with everything they say and tell them she’s my friend. That’s not too hard since that’s what you’re friends for right; in my opinion that’s normal.

12.If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Listen to your hart beating and don’t listen to anyone elses breath.

13.Would you break the law to save a loved one?
I don’t know if I would break the law, but I know I’ve already done some things for someone I love I wouldn’t do for anyone.

14.Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
Yes, always. I write the best songs out of the darkest situations.

15.What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
My way of thinking, I’m a dreamer and sometimes unrealistic. But I just believe in trying…

16.How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because not everyone’s happy with the little things in life.

17.What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
Do a musical education. I think the real world is holding me back.

18.Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yes, almost everything. I really can’t let go anything, very annoying!

19.If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?I would move to Nashville, Tennessee. My dream city!

20.Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
No, I never go with the elevator since I’ve seen ‘De Lift’. Movies can really get into me.

21.Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
A joyful simpleton, but I will never be normal I guess.

22.Why are you, you?
That’s a trick question, I don’t know!

23.Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
I think I shouldn’t be worrying so much about my friends and how our relationship rolls.

24.Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
Losing touch with a good friend who lives right near. You know it; different classes, different schools. Bye bye friends L

25.What are you most grateful for?
Having this passion that controlls me completely, Music.

26.Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
I think I’d want to lose all my old ones. But that’s just because I haven’t made many yet.

27.Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
That’s kind of like knowing your future before it happends, who knows…

28.Has your greatest fear ever come true?
No, and I hope it won’t!

29.Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
I think it does because it’s still running. When I was ten, I used to be upset about being different and unexcepted. I still feel like that sometimes but it’s less.

30.What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
I have a picture where I’m standing with an old LP in my dad’s music room. It still makes me cry everytime I see it.

31.At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
At my performance at school. I got a huge applause, my dad cried and I felt real.

32.If not now, then when?
Never, you have to do it now cause sometimes you only get one chance.

33.If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
Everything, I think you have to give it everything and are able to lose everything untill you achieve it.

34.Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?No, I always regret saying nothing.

35.Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Because they think someone or something’s always going to save them, but they don’t and it doesn’t.

36.Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
No, and I know that. I Judge way too quik and that’s not good.

37.If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
No, I like my job!

38.Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
I’m lazy so I’d rather have less. But not if others will get more work, than I’ll do more.

39.Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
Yes, everyday I try and try to be a country singer so yeah.

40.When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
Everyday, I believe in what I want to do soo bad.

41.If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?Everyone I love.

42.Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?No, I would want to do it all alone.
43.What is the difference between being
alive and truly living?
I’m alive but not truly living because I’m not doing (yet) what I want to do.

44.When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?
When I know I’m good enough.

45.If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Because although you learn from them, you’d rather not make them because they show you didn’t do it right.

46.What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
I would fly directly to Nashville with a bunch of Demo CD’s.

47.When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?Woow, never excally.

48.What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?I don’t know that yet.

49.In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?I don’t think so.

50.Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?
Right now others still make them, but I hope in two years I’ll make them myself!

Vintage cut off shorts & grannie bag / H&M top / Vero Moda blazer / Graceland shoes / Action ring

Yes, yes, yes; I finally found thé perfect hightwaisted, denim shorts for only €3! I cutted them off as hotpants and still wanna add some studs to them. I'm currently so into vintage that I just don't walk into the H&M anymore. The local thriftstore became my walhallah, haha!
Oh and I also bought a great nailpolish (essence nail art twins, glitter topper 2), a grey glittery one. Really pretty but needs a lot of layers! I probably won't post everyday when I'm going back to school; I want to put every free minute into my music since I'm already 15! I know I have a long way to go and that I should start off young.
