NEW IN Dr Martens

AAAH. Yes, you see that right: I'm officially the proud owner of a pair of real, actual docs! I'm so happy, since I wanted these shoes for like forever. To be honest, if I had the choice, I would've chosen plain black ones. But this print is so beautiful, it doesn't even matter.
Now the best thing: I bought them in a thriftshop for only €17,50! Can you believe it? My mom texted me during class: Demi, you should really check out the thriftshop since I saw those shoes you want so bad there for a really good price. So I drove there in my lunch break (yes, I bought shoes including driving there/fitting/standing in line/paying, in 30 minutes) and got my dream shoes. Checked about 4 times if they were real: they are. Aaah, I'm too excited! Is it normal to be excited for shoes? Haha, I guess so.

OUTFIT All of us have hippie hearts

 Happy. For the first time in probably months, I've been happy again today. The past months were pretty tough for me and just wasn't in the mood to wear pretty clothes. So spent almost all april wearing jeans and vests. Today I felt like dressing up again, so I pulled out my new top from Jane Norman and decided to wear something very 'me'. My friend Xja-Hong made the pictures, thank ya gurl!
There's another reason I'm very, very happy: I finally got my hands on something I have been wanting for a very, very long time! You should really get excited, because I am! Stay tuned for the weekend to see what I got my hands on... Love, Demi

Piano. Today I had a little performance at my music school. Everyone got the chance to sing and play a song for all the interested people who showed up. I've always been fascinated by the building: it's part of my town's church. This church burned down in WOII and one half is totally gone. The little building where I have class, is the only part that remained on the left. It's so pretty and Annelies (my teacher) had set some beautiful flowers for today. Couldn't help but taking some pictures.

Colors. Because I'm the owner of a closet full off dark-toned clothes, I decided to keep an extra eye on bright-colored items. And succeeded! My oh my, I'm in love with the Jane Norman top which I bought during their sale. The biggest suprise is probably that I found some really nice things at C&A. I never shop there, but they excally had some great blouses and a cool sweater (have been looking for a tiger sweater for ever!) all with 40% off! I'm so happy with everything! Love, Demi

Eggs. I didn't eat them. The reason I totally forgot about another-holiday-easter was because of the freakin' eggs. Haha, my mom didn't buy them this year, which made me totally forget about easter. Old fashion. That's how my little sister described my new love. It's a really nice, pretty small black hat. Simple, chic and very, very cheap: only €9,95. I saw yesterday that it's very wanted and H&M keeps running out of stock of them, so I ordered it just in time! My testweek is finally OVER, so now I have a four-days-weekend. Excited! See you loves. Again. Broke my rule by posting during testweek. I only have one day and two tests (geographics and german) to go. So I guess I can post. To give you an idea how the rest went: history went bad because my teacher can't teach (no excuses are being made here), math and english went great, art history and dutch went alright. Hope I'm not boring you with an overload of pictures, but like I told you guys in the beginning of 2012: photography seems to win my interests. Quick about the pictures: 1. One mirror, some paperclips, perfection. 2. Roses. 3. Empty lighters are very photogenic (is that a word?). 4. Flowers. They fell.

Lomo. My friend on the second pictures has one. A Diana cam. I love the effect that it gives, so now I also added a Diana cam to my wishlisht. 1. First flowers of spring. 2. Me & Thomas, little light thing from the sun. 3. Finally wore my hair loose, with bangs. Btw: only the picture of me and Thomas is taken with a real Diana cam. I took the rest with my own camera and edited them. Looks pretty good huh :)
