PHOTO Playing with lighting

Hi loves, yesterday I celebrated my niece's birthday. Me, my mom, dad and sister drove to Hoofddorp at ten in the morning. Before we went to the actual birthday, we visited Primark! So, you can expect a huge Primark haul soon, since my closet needed to be filled so badly! At the birthday, we just sat inside while the sun was shining and I got kind of bored, so I took my lovely cam and took some pictures in a park nearby. I started playing with the light and shadows of the sun and tadaaa, this is the result!

OUTFIT Effortless

Hi Loves, How are you today? I felt like it was pretty hot actually, while I prepared myself for cold as you can see by the sweater. When will the day come that we can ever get some logic into the Dutch weather? Probably never. I decided to go for black and white today, but mix it with a little orange armcandy. I like the genderless effect that sweaters with collars and brogues give me, it looks so 'I'm-not-even-trying'! What your view on male inspired clothes on females? Love, Demi

Hi Loves, It's obvious I've gone back to school now. I haven't posted in a week and well, I can start making up excuses but I got so many good reasons. I have work, school, sports and music all mixed up in seven short days. But here I am and a new outfit post is coming asap!
Today I cleaned up my closet and got rid of half of my clothes. I realize now what my problem with clothing is: I buy too many basics and too less statement pieces. So I promised myself from now on no more €3 t-shirts anymore, but nice jackets and fine materials! I also started cleaning my computer since it's extremely slow and I found all these tumblr pictures that I once saved but never posted. NO INSTAGRAM DIARY Banana's, nature and school

Hi Loves, another 'no instagram diary' from the past couple of weeks. There's been some requests on my instagram account, so I guess I'll explain it again then: I don't have instagram, all these pictures are taken with my regular camera and edited with this site.

OUTFIT Black, white & animal

Hi Loves, An easy-going-back-to-school look this time for you guys. I honestly don't think you ever saw me wearing a blazer by the way. I have about 5 blazers (of which 2 actually fit right) but I never wear them. Why? It's just not me. A blazer gives every outfit a bit of a serious touch. So whenever I do wear one, I makes sure to combine it with casual sneakers and a nice top. I found this top at C&A for only €9, which is a really nice price for such a cute shirt! Decided to not wear jewellery (except for my watch, but that's not fair!), since I figured the bright red was already outstanding enough. What you do think? Less is more or more is more? Love, Demi

PS. For all the dutchies: Vrijdag 7 september en zaterdag 8 september is het weer zover, Appelpop komt dichterbij! Voor degenen die het niet kennen: Appelpop is Nederlands grootste GRATIS festival met dit jaar artiesten als Chef'Special, Ilse DeLange, Racoon, Guus Meeuwis, Will & The People en De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig! Woon je in de buurt van Tiel (op de grens van Utrecht/Gelderland) en heb je zin in een middag/avond/weekend vol festival maar geen zin om honderden euro's uit te geven, dan zou ik Appelpop in je agenda noteren! Ga je? Laat het me weten! Misschien kom ik je nog tegen!
